it was amazing
Rob Marrino, the highly decorated ex-army veteran, is happy to be working as a small-town cop after returning from the Vietnam war. A major drug bust throws him in the path of a dangerous Columbian drug cartel. Rob turns to his friend from his Vietnam days, Richard Larson aka Tex, a retired sergeant with the First Marines. Wary of bullets and violence, Rob knows the only way to take down the bad guys is to use their collective combat skills.
Rob is the main protagonist, but it’s Tex who steals the show. Saniscalchi expertly provides him a brusque, confident persona. Tex’s clever analytical mind under duress will delight readers. Saniscalchi neatly weaves a deceptively simple plot into a fast-paced action thriller and delivers a tense, satisfying finale. A delight to read!
